Jiffy the Giraffe
A physical computing project using Arduino and node.js.
Jiffy the giraffe’s Arduino code is programmed to move his limbs when his light sensor eyes are covered or in a dark room, so when no one is around. With Apon’s help, I set an on and off button for him to move using a webpage through node.js to Arduino. This gives the viewer an illusion of controlling Jiffy, but if the lights are turned off, he is still programmed to move even if he is unplugged from node.js.
Initial Skeleton of 5 servo motors and deflated giraffe
Completed giraffe with new light sensor eyes and servo skeleton, for joints at all 4 limbs and 1 neck to move the head.
